As a Bayleys Real Estate preferred contractor our standards have to be high, and they are- always.
Mulch mowing is always the most cost effective and simplest lawn mow, particularly in spring, summer, autumn conditions. And with the RIGHT mowers, the finish is as good as any catcher-mow.
If you have a garden bin, we are happy to catch for free and put in your bin. The amount of clients I have that pay $20 PLUS a fortnight for their garden bin, but never use it is astonishing. There are a lot of myths about "mulch" mowing, but in the correct conditions using the pro mowers, it is a great option.

FAQ's and Lawn mowing myths
How often should my lawn be mowed?
Your lawn should be mowed fortnightly at a minimum.
My service is based on fortnightly mows all year round.
Only in mid winter from the 2nd week July - 3rd week Aug will I do "3 wkly" mows. This is a short 3-4 week period where growth slows- once temps reach 13deg C or lower.
Just because 1 June is officially the start of winter doesn't mean grass stops growing!
Anything outside of fortnightly mows severely interrupts our mowing schedule-which is made up of x2 fortnightly blocks per month.
My service is based on a regular fortnightly schedule.
When do I have to pay for my lawn mow?
On completion of job. For those who request an invoice a 7 (seven) day due by date is stated-from the day of mow. It is important that completed work is paid for by its due date as it gets very messy trying to keep track of payments when they are "hit and miss".
Do you do "moving out final mows" for rental tenants?
Absolutely, We do plenty of work for Bayleys Real Estate with exiting Tenants.
For exit mows requested by the tenant and not the Property Manager, they are required to be pre-paid upon acceptance of quote.
I'm an "absentee" landlord or home owner wanting work done-how do I know you have done it?
Because I'm honest and mature with old school values where my word is my bond. And as a matter of policy, I always include "before" and "after" pictures of the job so the owner/landlord is happy.
How much is a quote?
Totally free. I will stop by and quote your lawn mow or property work for free at a time that suits. It is not necessary for you to be home for me to quote, as long as I can access the areas included.
Do you clean up my doggy poo before mowing?
Absolutely not. It is the owners/tenants responsibility to ensure the lawns are as free as possible of dog poo etc ideally, the night before a lawn mow. If the lawn has doggy poo all over it, it will be mowed around-resultng in a pretty ugly looking mow!
Do you take the clippings away?
My standard lawn mow is a mulch mow with high quality pro mulch mowers. A mulch mow when done correctly and in the correct conditions is as neat and grassless as any "catcher" mow.
My Clients cannot even tell my mulch mows from catcher mows. It is very expensive to dump lawn clippings- and mows where the Clients requires grass removal will attract an extra $10 per cut.
If you have a garden bin or bag then we are happy to use a catcher and empty the clippings into your bin.
(you are being charged $20 + a fortnight for it-so fill it up!)
Do you charge GST?
No- I keep my lawn mowing capped so it doesn't reach GST thresh holds- which means I can afford to pass that saving onto my customers. Typically I can better almost all quotes by other contractors.
Can you do other work for me as well as mow my lawns?
Absolutely! Garden tidy ups, section clearing, hedge and tree trimming and removal, as well as garden and landscape design and implementation are all areas that I have many years experience in. I do complete makeovers for B&B's and absentee owners as well as property clean ups and maintenance for Bayleys Real Estate.
What brands of equipment do you use?
Only pro gear from the best commercially proven brands. Honda, Masport, Toro and Lawnmaster ,
I typically use electric (battery) trimmers, line trimmers, shears which are very quiet, unobtrusive and friendly to the environment.
I use 4 stroke petrol mowers.
